Houndmouth is a rock and roll band from New Albany, Indiana, led by frontman and songwriter Matt Myers. Their sound blends rock and roll with American roots music, from the platinum-selling "Sedona" to albums including From the Hills Below the City, Little Neon Limelight, Golden Age and Good For You.

Lordy, the band's latest album, is out now on Dualtone Records. Produced by Grammy winner Brad Cook, it strips Houndmouth's sound back to the bones. Myers wrote most of the songs at home on acoustic guitar, cut a one-take performance of each, then built them out with a small circle of musicians, including keyboardist Caleb Hickman. The album includes "Tiger Blood," "Heavy Eyes," "Never Gonna Die" and the title track.
